Ferdinand, French Apothocary Cabinet
A beautiful antique French meuble de métier, brimming with rustic character and timeless utilitarian charm.
This substantial cabinet features fifteen individual drawers, each adorned with an aged metal cup pull and its own label holder. The wonderfully simple design, paired with the warmth of the natural pine wood and its softly weathered patina, gives this piece an unmistakable French country presence.
Traditionally found in French shops, workshops, and working interiors, meubles de métier were designed with practicality in mind. Today, these sought-after pieces are celebrated for their honest craftsmanship, beautiful proportions, and remarkable versatility.
The fifteen drawers offer an abundance of storage, making this an exceptional piece for a kitchen, dining room, creative studio, or home office. Equally beautiful in a retail setting, where its many compartments and aged hardware evoke the charm of an old French mercantile.
