Frédéric Swedish Basket

A beautiful piece of Scandinavian country history, this antique Swedish potato basket is a wonderful example of the simple, utilitarian craftsmanship we adore.

Traditionally used for gathering and storing potatoes and garden harvests, this charming basket features a beautifully rounded silhouette, intricate handwoven construction, and a gracefully arched wooden handle. Its most captivating detail is the wonderfully aged green-gray finish, softened by time to reveal warm glimpses of the natural material beneath.

Rich with texture and rustic character, this is the kind of treasured find that brings an effortless sense of history to a collected home. Equally beautiful filled with winter greenery and pinecones, overflowing with fresh garden clippings, or displayed on its own. 15" x 12" x 11"
